Gibault joint for PVC pipe with O type gasket
Gibault joint is designed specifically for the plain end of pVC pipe and HDPE pipe. For other pipes,we normally call them coupling which is used to connect pipe plain ends .Compared to the universal coupling, the gibault joint is designed specifically for the outer diameter of one pipe, so its dimension fits the outer diameter of the pipe accurately, making tightening very quick and easy. The sealing performance is very good. The gibault joint can withstand higher pressures than a Wide Range Coupling of the same size.
